Sway Bars

One of the biggest bang-for-your-buck suspension modifications that can be done is the replacement of the sway bars. These are part of what controls the "lean" that a car has in a corner as it experiences lateral forces. My car only came with a front sway bar, and I intend to keep it that way unless I determine that a rear bar will do something I can't accomplish with shock valving and spring rates.

I purchased a set of sway bar reinforcement plates from Bad Dog Parts because I had heard of instances where larger bars had such an increased stress that they actually tore away from the frame. I may have not needed to worry about that, but I felt it was better to be safe than sorry.
The sway bar reinforcements were welded into place during the car's trip to Piper Motorsports. Pictures below of the finished product.

With the necessary reinforcement steps taken, I opted to start with a 3/4 inch front sway bar. I am also searching for a 7/8 and 1 inch sway bar to give me some different options to work with when tuning.
