1993 Nissan 240sx Hatchback |
Model specs:155 hp |
I bought this car as a new start to build an SR20DET-powered race car to replace my old 91 240 hatchback which had been passed on to my girlfriend. It sat for a long time, in need of a rebuilt starter and alternator before I got around to doing anything. Eventually, I got it on the road and used it for a daily driver for quite awhile. I had learned from my 91 Supra that it would be a lot easier to drive the car until it died (or at least had the funds to accomplish my goals) and get some decent use out of it before taking it off of the road. So I stuck to my guns and didn't jump right into any crazy modifications. As time progressed, my priorities changed a bit and I ended up selling this car before I ever bought a single part for it. It still ran like a champ and was pretty fun to drive (OK, the automatic sucked), but I decided having money for a down payment on a house was for more important and the time had come to let the car go. I found a buyer and the day that I sold it just happened to be the same day that we put an offer on what would eventually become my first house. |
